Laminated Shingles
– These special shingles contain more than one layer of tabs to create extra thickness. They are also referred to as three-dimensional or architectural shingles because they create visual depth on a roof and impart a custom look. Laminated shingles are a favorite among builders, roofing contractors and homebuyers.
Laminates come with manufacturers’ warranties of 30, 40 and 50 years
Premium Laminate
Premium Laminate shingles are sometimes referred to as Presidential style. They are a heavier Laminate (triple layered) and represent the absolute top of the line in Composition. They are thicker, heavier and physically larger than standard Laminates. Premium Laminate shingles often incorporate extra features like moss retardants and modified asphalts.
